In our nation’s quest to move ‘Beyond aid’ it is absolutely imperative that we begin to re-imagine the way we do things in all sectors of the economy. MESH Creative Confab 2018 seeks to unearth the role of the creative industry in this process by curating sessions that showcase and demonstrate innovative ideas, projects and creative business services that demonstrate this theme while also offering practical tools that will directly impact participants by enhancing their ability to ‘re-imagine’
Because 1 day is not enough…
In 2017, MESH Creatiive Confab transitioned from a biannual event into an annual event and for the first time in 2018, the event will span 2 full days to allow participants and exhibitors greater value and maximum time for meaningful interactions among participants.
What else is new?
Well, apart from number of days transitioning from 1 to 2 full days, we are also happy to announce that this year’s edition and hopefully subsequent editions will be held at the National Theater, Accra.
Over the last few years, MESH Creative Confab has evolved to include the following sessions
1. Creative expo
2. Curated talks
3. Portfolio presentations
4. Live Demos
We learnt from feedback however, that even though the usual sessions bring a lot of value to our attendees and participants in the form of inspiration, exposure, business networking and market expansion, we could do more by way of education and practical training. So we introduced ‘Masterclass Workshops’ in digital and enterprise skills training. Our pilot run of this new session will include workshops in and facilitated by the following:
1. Introduction to Digital Photography by Dextdee Livingstone
2. Design thinking for innovation by David Hutchful
3. Graphic design fundamentals by Nana K. Duah
4. Running a creative business
Each premium ticket holder gets access to any 2 workshops of their choice
1. Eyram Tawiah – Leti Arts
